Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: The Odisha High Court on Thursday issued notice to state Woman and Child Development Minister Anjali Behera over her alleged involvement in the murder case of former Hindol block chairman Nabaghana Sahu. The High Court has sought Anjali’s version in the hearing of PIL filed by the social worker Prashant Mishra and others who alleged that the act as a planned murder.  

In May 2011, Nabaghana was hit by a car during his morning walk. Earlier Sahu had filed various alleged corruption cases against minister Anjali Behera in High Court. Citing threat to life from the minister Nabaghana had also sought police help in this regard.
