Sources said Dhananjay was caught when he was trying to fly to New Delhi allegedly in a charted flight of arrested industrialist Mahimananda Mishra.

As the real motive behind Dhananjay Dutt concealing his identity, carrying huge cache of ammunition to the airport without any permission and going to board a charted flight of an accused is still unclear; Commissionerate police has ordered a detailed inquiry into the incident.

"We have arrested the havildar based on the complaint filed at Airfield police station. He has already been placed under suspension and disciplinary action would be taken after inquiry," said Police Commissioner, YB Khurania.

Khurania further informed that under what circumstances the concerned havildar was carrying ammunition to the airport and the purpose of his travel are now under investigation.

Security personnel extending facilities in lieu of undue favours from accused is nothing new. Earlier, several police personnel had to face music after they were caught on camera allowing Pradip Sethi and a former MLA, both accused in chit fund scam, to use mobile phones.
