Bhubaneswar: The State government today held talks with members of Keonjhar Zilla Kriyanusthan Committee (KZKC) here to discuss the latter’s demands it has been making for past two months.

A 15-member delegation of the committee met Finance minister Pradip Kumar Amat at secretariat here and presented a five-point charter of demands to him.

Sources said the minister assured the delegates to look into their demands which include a government medical college in the district, a mega steel plant, rail connectivity between Anandpur-Champua, setting up of an Agriculture university and unitary status to Dharanidhar Autonomous College.
