Gangster Tito's love for luxury cars, watches exposed

Bhubaneswar: Beyond the gritty life of a crime, arrested gangster Sayed Usman Ali alias Tito used to lead a lavish lifestyle which has become evident after the special task force (STF) of Crime Branch seized a gold-studded watch on Thursday.

The branded watch weighs nearly 175 grams and is estimated to be worth over Rs 6 lakh, sources said.

Earlier, the STF had seized several luxury cars worth nearly Rs 1 crore from the gangster's possession.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Tito, who had created an empire through illegal means, was trying his best to project himself as a 'messiah' in front of the people of his locality by making generous donation.

The Crime Branch is now probing the 'benami properties' and assets created by Tito through his crime syndicate.

Probe is also on into land transaction worth Rs 1 crore by Tito in Kolkata. As the land deal was executed between one Bandana Ray and Tito's wife, the former will soon be summoned for interrogation, CB sources said.
