Berhampur: fire broke out in the State Bank of India`s Bijipur Branch here, SBI sources said today.

The fire broke out in the SBI Bijipur branch last night and the computer-system room and the branch manager`s chamber was completely destroyed in the fire, the sources said. The fire broke out due to suspected electric short-circuit, bank officials said adding the fire brigade personnel took over three hours to control the blaze.
