Jagatsinghpur: Two youth leaders of ruling-BJD allegedly misbehaved with police and threatened them inside a policestation at  Kujang in Jagatsinghpur district.

The accused have been identified as BJD Yuva Janata Dal’s Kujang block vice president Rajendra Sahu and Prabhat Patra, another frontline youth leader of the party.

Both were caught by the police for driving a two-wheeler without helmet and brought to the police station last night. However, the duo who was in an inebriated condition, misbehaved with the cops . The video of the whole act later went viral on the social sites.

“The two accused were held during frisking. They were drunk and misbehaved with police staff. When they were brought to the police station for medical examination. they once again misbehaved with police,” said Dilip Kumar Sahu, IIC of Kujang police station.

BJP has ensured action of the two youth leaders of the ruling party.

“We condemn the way the duo misbehaved with police,” stated Sampad Swain, president of BJP Yuva Morcha, Jagatsinghpur.
