Dead bodies found from Puri hotel

Puri: Two dead bodies were recovered today from a hotel at Chakratirtha road in Puri. Sea Beach police seized the bodies of a man and woman from room no 102 of Hotel Trideb Villaa.

The deceased have been identified as Mahendra Kumar Das of Basudevpur under Balianta police station and Dali of same village.

They booked the hotel room on Friday and spent night. However, their bodies were found from the room following which hotel manager informed police on Saturday night.

Police sent the bodies for post mortem and are investigating the case. They suspect, as per preliminary investigation, it as a case of suicide.
