Mystery shrouds over missing Odia girls

Puri: The families of three Odia girls from Dalang area of the district, who were allegedly kidnapped by their choreographer on the pretext of a stage performance in Balasore three weeks ago, are still unsure about the rescue of their girls.

Though the State police said all the girls have been rescued from Jaunpur area of Uttar Pradesh (UP), their family members denied of receiving any information about their exact whereabouts, as one of the family member assisting the cops to UP has not been able to meet her daughter.

Father of Priyanka Pradhan, who is in UP along with Puri police, informed his family members over phone that he is yet to meet his daughter.

Denying such a development, Puri SP Ashish Kumar Singh said Odisha police team will leave for Bhubaneswar tonight along with the rescued girls.
