Bhubaneswar: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled Odisha visit tomorrow, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) chief, Niranjan Patnaik today said the party supporters will sell ‘pakoras’ in Cuttack as a mark of protest.

Lambasting Modi over his ‘pakora’ remark on youth employment, Patnaik stated the party supporters would sell the deep fried delicacy in the Millennium City tomorrow.

“This is a good step if someone follows the idea,” Patnaik said satirically.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar at around 3.30 PM tomorrow and will visit Cuttack to address a public meeting.

Modi will return to Delhi on the same day after the public meeting at Bali Jatra ground.

Meanwhile, Congress activists staged dharna in front of fuel refilling stations in Bhubaneswar protesting Modi’s visit to the State. They raised anti-BJP slogans and stated Modi has failed to control fuel prices.

“We are opposing the way Narendra Modi-government has been duping people of the country for the past four years. In a democratic manner, Congress today staged demonstrations in front of all fuel refilling stations in Bhubaneswar,” stated Youth Congress leader, Manoj Biswal.
