Bhubaneswar: Informing Odisha Assembly, Employment & Technical Education & Training minister Pratap Keshari Deb on Saturday said, “a committee will be formed soon to bring transparency in Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)”.

Apart from that, Central Placement Cell will be made regarding the employment of the students after passing out the technical course, added Deb.

In 2007-2012, 5,059 students out of 9,558 have been appointed in government organizations while the remaining have been appointed in non-governmental organizations.

Providing more information to the House, the minister said, “Proposals for 22 new polytechnic colleges are in the pipeline.”

However, eight polytechnic colleges will come into operation in the coming academic year, added Deb.
