Bhubaneswar: The Central Bureau of Investigation today carried out raids at the offices of scam-tainted chit fund company Swastik India.

According to sources, the CBI sleuths simultaneously raided eight places in Bhubaneswar along with 12 places across the State.
As per latest reports, the searches were conducted on the offices of the company at Balasore, Bhadrak, Sundargarh and Jharsuguda, apart from Bhubaneswar.

In May last year, police in Sundargarh and Bargarh districts registered separate cases against Swastik India officials. The CBI had arrested several officials, including company founder Ranjan Dash, for allegedly duping the depositors of crores of rupees.
