Torture of Bangladeshi minor boy: Asha Kiran chief arrested

Bhubaneswar/Jatni: Asha Kiran chief Hochiminh Sastri and staff of the shelter home, located in Jatni, were arrested today for allegedly torturing a Bangladeshi minor boy.

Besides, statements of the Bangladeshi minor boy torture victim will be recorded today at a court in Bhubaneswar.

Notably, the Bangladeshi boy, aged 15, managed to escape from the shelter home last week and was rescued in the Puri railway station.

In a statement before the Puri child welfare committee (CWC), the Bangladeshi minor boy stated that he ran away from Asha Kiran because of the tortures inflicted on him causing injuries.
