Cuttack: The repair work of Jagamohan, the hall facing the sanctum sanctorum of Sri Jagannath Temple, will be completed by June, 2017, said an affidavit filed by Archeological Survey of India (ASI) at Orissa High Court on Wednesday.
In the affidavit, the ASI has said it will complete the repair of the pillars by November this year and by April, 2017 it will finish the pocket framing work, sources said.
Earlier, the HC had asked authorities of the ASI, Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) and the Puri collector to file an affidavit on the status of the ongoing repair and restoration work of Jagamohan inside the Shri Jagannath temple.

The court issued the directive while hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on this issue.
