Pinak Mishra takes charge as Berhampur SP

Berhampur:  IPS Officer of 2011-batch Pinak Mishra took charge as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Berhampur yesterday replacing Ashish Kumar Singh, who has been posted as the new DIGP Southern Range Berhampur.

Prior to this, Mishra served as the SP of Sundergarh.

After assuming office, Mishra said that his focus will be on ensuring people-friendly policing in Berhampur and resolving various traffic issues.

“I will take forward the legacy of Berhampur police in carrying out drives to check various anti-social and criminal activities. Besides, I will also focus on ensuring a positive public interface in the city and use of technology in controlling such crimes,” Mishra said.

Many senior police personnel were present on the occasion.
