Petrol Pump in city raided, no anomaly found

Bhubaneswar: The Weights and Measures Department conducted a raid on the Bhamra petrol pump near CRPF square here today after receiving allegations of irregularities in fuel quantity.

A three-member team of the Weights and Measures Department conducted the raid today.

However, the officials denied the allegations and said that there is no such irregularity in the fuel measurement.

“It was alleged that the petrol pump is cheating the customers by dispensing fuel in lesser quantity. However, we found no such irregularity in the measurement during the search,” said Weights and Measures Department Assistant Comptroller Ramachandra Dalai.
