Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Prasad Harichandan and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Narasingha Mishra met All India Congress Committee (AICC) vice-president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi this afternoon.
According to sourece, they met the party president at his residence located at Toglak road.
According to sources, Rahul hold discussion on the report submitted by Central team over the Gumudumaha firing, which claimed the lives of five innocent people including a 15-month old by security forces on July 8.
Besides, he also discussed the all-party meet called by the LoP over the Mahanadi issue. Moreover, the Forest Act and party’s strategy for the Mahanadi issue were also figured in the discussion during the meeting.
Senior party leader Jairam Ramesh was also be present with Harichandan and Mishra during their meeting with Rahul Gandhi, party sources added.
