Itishree murder case: Main accused to undergo narco test

Rayagada: Netranand Dandasena, the main accused in the sensational murder of lady teacher of Tikiri Upper Primary School, Itishree Pradhan, will undergo narco analysis test.

According to the lawyer of Dandasena, the CBI, which is probing the case, took the accused to Gujarat on December 31, 2016. A special team of CBI took Dandasena from Koraput jail to Gujarat.

Earlier, the CBI had conducted a polygraph test on Dandasena. However, unable to get desired results from the test, the CBI will conduct the narco test.

“Dandasena’s wife went to Koraput jail to meet him. However, the jail authorities told her that Dandasena was taken to Gujarat on December 31, 2016 for narcotic analysis test. He should be taken after consent from the Collector and the superintendent of police (SP). However, we have absolutely no information on the matter,” said Dandasena’s lawyer, Bishnu Prasad Panda.
