Cuttack: Odisha crime branch (CB) will investigate into the alleged question paper leak of the written examination for recruitment of police constables, said the State investigating body’ ADG BK Sharma today here.
The test, which has been held today, was cancelled following reports that question papers were leaked.
Confirming the cancellation, DGP Sanjeev Marik said, “It was cancelled after we received reports of questions papers leak in some districts.”
“The Odisha Police State Council Board, which is conducting the exam, will organise a fresh test again. Meanwhile, it has also requested the DGP to launch an unbiased investigation into it, said Amrit Mohan Prasad, chairman of the board.
The notice for the fresh exam will be advertised through medias. The notice will be also available on the websites of Odisha Police and State Staff Selection Board,” Prasad added.
Question papers were reportedly available in the market prior to the examination today.
