Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the second unit of the Care Hospitals, a unit of the Hyderabad-based Care Group of Hospitals, at Chandrasekharpur here today.
The 400-bed hospital, developed over an area of three acre, is constructed at a cost of Rs 150 crore. In the first phase, 260 beds would be made operational, said hospital authorities at Press meet on Friday.
Care Hospitals Bhubaneswar medical director Mahendra Prasad Tripathy said the hospital has been built for patients to have easy access to professional and medical help. “We are dedicated to serve the people with superior quality healthcare services providing care with a difference. This centre is yet another milestone in that direction,” Trpathy said. The hospital has received a no-objection certificate (NOC) for fire safety, he added.
Notably, Care Hospitals is the first hospital in the state to start cardiac electro physiology studies programme and it also has an advanced dialysis unit to treat patients suffering from chronic renal failure. The first unit has been operating in the city for over a decade.
