Balasore: 20 injured as bus meets with accident

Balasore: At least 20 passengers were injured as the bus in which they were travelling in, met with an accident near Naharpatna bridge on National Highway-5 here late last night.

All the injured have been admitted to district headquarters hospital (DHH) here.

Sources said, the incident occurred at around 1 am when a speeding Haiwa rammed into the bus head on.

Police have reached the spot and seized both the vehicles.

“We were travelling in Swayam Shubham bus and there were around 40 passengers in it. The Haiwa collided with our bus on the over bridge,” said Bichitra Behera, an injured passenger.
