Ancient Rare fossil Alligator fish found in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A rare freshwater Alligator fish of the gar family was netted on Friday in the BinduSagar tank in the Capital city.

A team of Nandankanan Zoologocal Park and forest officials today caught the fish. As per reports, the fish can grow up to 7 to 8 ft in length.

As this species has teeth, the fish may harm the visitors, said one official.
