30,000 from Odisha to appear in NEET-I tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Nearly 30,000 students from Odisha will appear in the first phase National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-I) on Sunday.

About 6, 50, 000 students will appear in the entrance test to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) across the country as per the directive of the Supreme Court.

For Odisha, CBSE has chosen three cities—Bhubaneswar, Berhampur and Rourkela— where the students will appear in the test at several centres.

Tusharkant Nath, chairman of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE), informed that the test is scheduled to begin at 10 AM while the students have been asked to report at their respective centres by 7.30 AM.
