Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal on Wednesday announced the list of the party’s State office-bearers, heads of its frontal organisations and the presidents of three districts.

According to a release issued by the party this evening, the three new district presidents are: Debaraj Mohanty (Ganjam), Kalikesh Narayan Singhdeo (Balangir) and Pramod Rath (Sambalpur).

Internal wrangling had held up the announcement of the names of presidents of party units in these three districts, according to BJD sources.

Nine members of State Executive Committee have been appointed vice presidents. They are Usha Devi, Hrushikesh Naik, Damodar Rout, Anang Uday Singhdeo, Prasanna Acharya, Surya Narayan Patro, Bed Prakash Agrawal, N Bhaskar Rao and Bimbadhar Kanhar.

While Subash Singh has been appointed as the Treasurer, 10 members of the Committee have been appointed as general secretaries. They are Sarojini Hembram, Debi Prasad Mishra, Badri Narayan Patra, Padmanava Behera, Arun Kumar Sahoo, Rabi Narayan Nanda, Sudam Marandi, Debasish Samantaray, Rajendra Prasad Dholkia and Prasanta Nanda.

Besides, the other 10 members of the Committee appointed as secretaries are, Kanakprava Lenka, Pravat Ranjan Biswal, Aswini Kumar Patra, Pradeep Kumar Panigrahi, Pranab Prakash Das, Jhina Hikaka, Rabindra Kumar Jena, Anup Sai, Ananta Narayan Jena and Priyadarshi Mishra.

Further, the existing office bearers of the Yuva, Chhatra and Mahila wings will continue to function in the same capacity, the release added.
