Bhubaneswar: Congress leader and Kalahandi MP Bhakta Charan Das on Wednesday wrote to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik urging him to conduct a judicial or CBI probe into the +2 question papers leak case.

“ If the State government is really concerned about the seriousness of the matter, I implore you to conduct a judicial enquiry about this matter by a senior retired or serving judge of the High Court or by CBI”, Das said in his letter.

The parliamentarian whose name is in the news over the question leak issue slammed the state government saying that he has been trapped in the case as he belongs to another party. Hs said that as a people’s representative, he only recommended a particular college for exam centre keeping the students concern in view.

“Just because I  listened to the grievance of the students who were supposed to travel 30-40 kms to write their papers and subsequently wrote letter to higher education department for tagging the college as the home exam centre, I am being accused for this leakage”, he apprised the CM through his letter.

State Crime Branch probing the paper leak case arrested the centre superintendent of Mahaling Anchalik College in Kalahandi which Das recommended for exam center.
