Army officer from Odisha dies under mysterious circumstances in Jammu

Jammu/Bhubaneswar: An Army officer, who belonged to Odisha, died on Thursday under mysterious circumstances in an Army Camp in Jammu, police said.

Lieutenant Colonel Sanat Kabi (45) was found unconscious in transit camp here under suspicious circumstances, they said.

He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu where doctors declared him brought dead, the officials said.

Kabi's body was handed over to Army after the post mortem. Inquest proceedings have started, police added.
