Bhubaneswar: The All India Pre-Medical Test was held today at Bhubaneswar, Rourkela and Berhampur in the State. The test, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, was held across the country for the second time this year after the Supreme Court cancelled the earlier exam conducted on May 3 due to leakage of answer-keys of the test in Haryana.

The apex court had directed CBSE to conduct the test again on June 15. This time the CBSE authorities had made elaborate arrangements to frisk students before the test. Candidates were barred from carrying wallets, wrist watches, goggles, hair pins, hair bands, rings, bracelets, earrings, noses-pin, large shirt buttons and water bottles.

The candidates were also asked to wear slippers and not shoes. Besides, mobile phone jammers were installed inside the centres. As many as 37,000 students from the State had sat for the test.
