Hyderabad: TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday warned of intensifying the agitation from Tuesday in support of Telangana if the Centre continued to dilly-dally on the issue and demanded that immediate steps be taken for the formation of the separate state.

"Buses and trains would not move. Telangana will be like a furnace from tomorrow. You (Centre) should not delay the formation of Telangana any further," he said.

"I appeal to the Prime Minister to take immediate steps for formation of separate statehood. You have to implement the promise you made. The patience of Telangana people should not be tested any further," he said.

Rao expressed confidence that formation of separate Telangana is unstoppable now as the political leadership of the region came under one roof.

"When Congress MPs were not allowed to see the dead body of Telangana ideologue K Jayashankar at Warangal recently, I asked them why they are facing such insults. Are we not there? Your resignations will not be accepted. If they are accepted and bypolls come, then Telangana people will bless you," he said.

All the agreements, Government Orders and assurances given for protection of Telangana rights have been violated or not implemented properly, he alleged.

The TRS President was speaking at Indira Chowk here where suspended TDP MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy and three other MLAs have started a fast for Telangana. All the four submitted their resignations yesterday.
