Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths on Saturday raided residences and offices of three government officials belonging to Orissa State Civil Supplies Department for their involvement in the alleged rice scam in 2008.
 
According to reports, three teams of the anti-corruption department raided the residences and office of Khageshwar Panda, a supply analyst, in Nabarangpur and Bolangir simultaneously.
 
Meanwhile, the Jeypore division of the anti-corruption department raided Bhadrak district supply officer Surya Narayan Panigrahi’s residence at Badamsahi for his alleged connection in the scam.
 
This apart, another raid was conducted by the sleuths at Shiva Prasad Dora’s residences in Baripada and Nabrangpur.
 
The raid was conducted on the basis of a complaint that was lodged against Dora while he was serving at Kalahandi. However, the sleuths have not revealed information about any seizure during the operation at Dora’s residences.
