Cuttack: A fast track court here on Monday sentenced three persons to seven years rigorous imprisonment involved in Khan Nagar porn film case whereas one accused was acquitted due to lack of evidence.
As per reports, the fast track court convicted prime accused Pina and his two other accomplices. The court found them guilty under Section 306 (abetting suicide), 34 (common intention), 500 (defamation) and 417 (cheating) of the IPC and Section 6 of Indecent Representation of Women Act.
It may be recalled that prime accused Pina had established physical intimacy with a girl from Khan Nagar area here. Later, the accused along with his accomplices shot the intimate moments with a hidden camera and circulated it in market in the form of CDs.
After, getting to know about the incident the girl committed suicide to avoid humiliation and social stigma following which her father register a complaint with the local police.

The court, however, acquitted Bapi alias Subrat for want of evidence.
