One stabbed to death in clash

A man identified as Gobinda Nayak, who helped a boy to elope with a village girl recently, was stabbed to death during the clash last night, the sources said.

The clash was preceded by a heated exchange of words between rival groups.

The injured were admitted to the the district headquarters hospital at Angul where the condition of three was stated to be serious.

Four persons were arrested for the clash.
