Berhampur: Unidentified miscreants decamped with Rs 3.66 lakh after attacking a man near a private bank at Dharma Nagar under town police limits here in broad day light on Wednesday.

Sahadev Rath, an employee of a private finance firm in Badabazar area here was going to deposit the money in the bank in a bike, when two miscreants attacked him with sword, police said.

Rath was admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here and his condition stated to be serious, they said.
