Morigaon: Four adult rhinocerous, including two females, were on Monday translocated from Pabitora wildlife sanctuary to Manas tiger reserve in Lower Assam.

The animals were tranquilised and transported under the supervision of World Wildlife Fund and Assam forest department officials under India Rhino Vision, 2020, official sources said.

So far altogether eight rhinos have been translocated from Pabitora, which has the highest density of rhino population in the state, to Manas reserve, a world heritage site, the sources said.
