Bali Yatra 2022: Laser show on rich culture of Cuttack to enthrall visitors

After the Covid-19 pandemic-induced lull of two years, the Silver City of Cuttack is all set to host the historic trade fair Bali Yatra in a grand manner starting November 8. The district administration is coming up with a series of unique arrangements to make Bali Yatra grandeur this year.

In a first, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has made arrangements for laser light show at Mahanadi River which is believed to be the centre of attraction during the nine-day long historic fair.

Trail run of laser show underway at Mahanadi river

According to sources, the show will be organised every evening during the Bali Yatra.

A Delhi-based company that has been assigned with the task to conduct the laser light show performed a trail run at Mahanadi river bed on Tuesday night.

The laser light will display more than 10 videos on the rich history of Cuttack, five visits of Mahatma Gandhi to the city and ‘Bara Putras’ of Odisha.
