New Delhi: Will PMK be a part of the DMK-Congress coalition in Tamil Nadu?

Confusion prevails on the issue a day after Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi announced that the S Ramadoss-led party will fight the assembly elections along with the ruling DMK and other coalition partners in the state.

However, PMK chief Ramadoss has said that his party has not yet taken any decision on the alliance question as discussions within the party in this regard were still on.

When asked to comment on Ramadoss` statement, Karunanidhi today said, "They have not decided, we have also not decided."

He refused to elaborate.

Arriving in the capital yesterday for talks with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on seat-sharing arrangement, Karunanidhi had said Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), PMK and Muslim League would be part of the alliance in Tamil Nadu, which is scheduled to go to polls in a few months.
