Chef of a Bhubaneswar hotel found hanging

Bhubaneswar: Close on the heels of an unnatural death of Dhiraj Singh, another staff of city based hotel Mayfair Lagoon has died under mysterious circumstances.

The deceased has been identified as Anant Bar, who was working as a Chef at the four-star hotel at Jaydev Vihar. The body of Anant was found hanging in one of the bathrooms of the hotels in the wee hours today.

Though it is still unclear whether Anant committed suicide or was murdered, police have started a probe into the incident. Anant hails from Bihar and his body has been handed over to family after post mortem today.

This is for the second time in the past couple of months that two staffs of the Hotel Mayfair Lagoon have died under mysterious circumstances in the city.

Earlier, the body of Dhiraj Singh another employee was found hanging from a lamppost, few meters away from the hotel on July 18.
