Rourkela: CBI sleuths from Dhanbad on Friday raided the residence of a senior official of the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), officials said.

The house of DGM (project operation) of RSP, Kamal Nayan, was searched for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

CBI officials said Nayan, who was in SAIL`s Bokaro Steel Plant (BSP) at Bokaro, was transferred to RSP only three months back.

Nayan was not immediately available for comment.

The assessment of his property was yet to be ascertained, the sources said.
