Bhubaneswar: Unidentified miscreants on Friday hurled bombs while a meeting was in progress at Khandadeuli Grampanchayat office under Aska police limits in Ganjam district.

As per eye witnesses, four motor-cycle borne miscreants hurled bombs and fired blank gun shots while the meeting was in progress.

However, no one was reportedly hurt in the incident.

Political rivalry is suspected to be the reason behind today’s incident, police said.

Meanwhile, investigation is on to nab the persons involved in the incident.
