Rourkela: The bodies of a boy and girl, belonging to different castes and having a relationship, was found from a forest at Kenavetta, about 90 km from here, on Tuesday.

Police said the badly decomposed bodies of Malaya Kumar Sahu (23) and Pravati Kissan (19), whose inter-caste relationship was spurned by both families, were spotted by the locals inside the forest.

The forest is one km away from Kenavetta village.

The duo were reported missing since having gone out of their houses on Saturday last.

Both were suspected to have consumed pesticide on the same day going by the state of decomposition of the bodies, police said.
