New Delhi: To his much surprise, a Delhi youth found a Domino’s Pizza seasoning packet filled with live insects after he opened the pouch.
Delhi resident Rahul Arora posted a video of this incident on the Facebook which has gone viral.
Arora ordered pizza online on Domino’s mobile app on Friday and the next day when he opened the Oregano sachets to spread it on bread, he found each one of them infested with pests.
“#BEWARE! All lovers of Domino’s Pizza India’s oregano seasoning, like myself. This is what they make you eat. Don’t know how many of these we actually ate! Feel #outraged,” Arora wrote in his Facebook post.
Meanwhile, after coming to know of the incident, the manufacturing company has apologised for the incident and said they would investigate the matter further.

The seasoning was manufactured for Jubilant Food Works Ltd. (which operates the Domino's brand in India), by one Dry Blend Foods Pvt. Ltd. on 30/May/17 with a 6 month validity. They were fit to eat and carried FSSAI accreditation!Now who is responsible – FSSAI, Domino's, Jubilant, Dry Blend Foods, the outlet? Where does the buck stop?
