Suspected Maoists gun down rebel member

Gumla (Jharkhand): Suspected Maoists today gunned down one of its activists for snapping ties with them in Gumla district, police said. Parmeshwar Gop, who was a self-styled area commander of the banned outfit, was shot dead by bike-borne gunmen at Bhelwatala under Dumiri police station. Gop had disowned the extremist outfit`s violent ideology, sources said.
