Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: The year 2018 comes with a good news for the students awaiting a job in the railway sector as the Central Railway has published a recruitment notification to fill up as many as 1050 posts for Ticket Collector, Senior Clerk, Commercial Clerk, Goods Guard, Jr. Clerk-cum Typist and many more.

Eligibility Criteria for Goods Guard:

The Central Railways has invited applications for filling up of 125 posts of Goods Guard in Level-5 through General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) from all the eligible candidates. The last date to apply online is December 30, 2017.

Educational Qualification: Candidate should possess a Degree from a recognized Board/University/Institute OR its equivalent on the date of notification. Those awaiting results of

the final examination NEED NOT apply. Entry of the prescribed minimum educational Qualification and those entered in the online application should also be in the Service Record of the candidate. Without this, the application will be treated as invalid at the scrutiny stage.
Note: Mark sheets should not be uploaded.

Application Fee: No application fee is required for the recruitment.

How to Apply: Candidates are required to apply ONLINE by visiting www.rrccr.com Detailed instructions for filling up ONLINE applications will be available on the website.

Candidates are required to log on to the RRC/CR website www.rrccr.com for filling ONLINE application for Goods Guard under G.D.C.E. and fill up the personal details/Bio-data etc carefully.

Candidates should be in possession of Aadhaar Card. At the time of registration, candidates have to fill 12 digit Aadhaar Card number. Candidates have to produce original Aadhaar card at the time of document verification.
During submission of ONLINE application, a Registration ID will be issued to each candidate. Candidates are advised to preserve/note their Registration ID for further stages of selection process/correspondence with respective Headquarters, Divisions/Units.

Eligibility Criteria for Jr. Clerk-cum-Typist vacancies:
Applications are hereby invited ONLINE for filling up of 150 posts of Jr.Clerk-cum-Typist in Level-2 through GDCE. Eligible candidates must apply online as the last date of submission of application is December 30, 2017.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Class 12th(10+2 stage) or its equivalent examination, on the date of notification with not less than 50% aggregate marks with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English/25 w.p.m. in Hindi. However, in case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates, 50% marks is not to required.

Medical qualification: The candidate should be FIT in C-One (C-I).

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: The candidates' maximum upper age limit for re-engagement is 65 years as on Dec 1, 2019. No re-engaged employee should continue in service beyond 65 years of age.

Selection Process: Selection will be purely based on a Written Exam and later an Interview will be conducted.
