New Delhi: On the occasion of International Workers` Day today, Railway Minister Mukul Roy extended good wishes to all employees "whose contribution keeps the wheels of industry moving" and promised them better social security. "This day is celebrated internationally as a tribute to each and every person whose contribution keeps the wheels of industry moving," he said in his May Day message.

Roy appreciated the dedication and hard work of 14 lakh strong railway employees who have helped in making Indian Railways a true lifeline of the nation. "Each railway person toil day and night, round the year, for ensuring uninterrupted operations," he said.

Lauding the commitment and contribution of the employees towards Indian Railways and the nation, Roy promised better social security and congenial working environment for every employee of the organisation.
