New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Here comes another opportunity for Central government job aspirants as the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway has released a recruitment notification related to a vacancy of 3162 Apprentice posts.
As per the advertisement, the recruitment process will be done to fill the 3162 posts lying vacant under the Northern Railway zone.
Interested, eligible candidates can apply today as the application process has already begun from today, December 28. The last date to apply against the vacancies is January 27, 2018.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and must have passed ITI in relevant trade recognized by Government.

Age Limit
The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 27-01-2018. Age relaxation for various
categories/community shall be applicable as per rules as amended from time to time.
Application Fee
The application fee to apply for the post is Rs 100, which is nonrefundable. The fee is to be paid only through online mode. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PH/Women candidates.
Mode of Selection
The selection of Act Apprentices is to be made on the basis of merit prepared taking into account the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidate in both matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) & ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
Physical Fitness
A person shall be eligible for being trained under the Apprentices Act 1961
and Apprenticeship Rules 1992, if he/she satisfies the minimum standards of physical fitness as prescribed in the aforesaid Act and Rules and the standards prescribed for imparting training to the relevant trades which will be certified by a Railway Doctor.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website www.rrcnr.org from 28-12-2017 at 11:00 hrs to 27-01-2018 up to 17:00 hrs.
