Mumbai/Bhubaneswar: Priya Prakash Varrier is getting included in almost all the rumors making rounds of the B-Town these days, especially after she became the internet sensation overnight.
Now, gossips are at high that the most talented and dashing director Karan Johar is mulling to rope in Priya Varrier for his most awaited movie ‘Student of the Year 2’.
The Malayalam actress’ one song clip from her upcoming film, Oru Adaar Love, made her an overnight internet sensation. Her cutesy act in the song 'Manikya Malaraya Poovi' made her the crush of millions of youths.
She has now gained tremendous popularity and followers on her social media accounts and also reportedly getting offers from movies.
However, Varrier entering Bollywood with KJ’s project must be taken with a grain of salt as there is nothing to confirm the rumors which for now, seems totally false and baseless. But one can not deny that she is going to be a super star and rule the film industry in future.
Ever since Karan Johar announced the sequel to his 2012 movie Student Of The Year, speculations regarding lead actors have been floating in full swing. Actors such as Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan and Disha Patani were rumoured to star opposite the most eligible bachelor Tiger Shroff.
However, the rumours have died down now as Chunky Panday’s daughter, Ananya Panday had been reportedly finalised for the first lead role.
Karan had auditioned nearly 800 girls before deciding on Ananya. Besides, the other lead actress who has been finalised is Tara Sutaria.
The film will be directed by Punit Malhotra and is expected to hit the screens on 23 November 2018.
