Bhubaneswar: As a mark of noble gesture the Government of Pakistan has announced that the ancestral houses legendary Bollywood thespians Raj Kapoor and Dillip Kumar would be soon accorded the status of national heritage sites. Mohammed Yusuf Khan alias Dillip Kumar was born at Quisa Khawani Bazar in 1922. His childhood was spent in Pakistan. Dillip Kumar had completed his primary education in Pakistan before coming to India before independence.

Likewise, famous producer and director Raj Kapoor was born in Peshawar. The ancestral house of Raj Kapoor is presently occupied by a businessman dealing in gold ornaments. Dillip Kumar who recently celebrated his 89th birthday has welcomed the decision of the Pakistani government.
