Bhubaneswar: National Award-winning Odia filmmaker Nila Madhab Panda’s upcoming movie ‘Halkaa’ has won another Grand Prix Award in the Best Feature Film category at Kinolub International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Poland.

Speaking to odishatv.in, Panda said, “This is a huge boost and recognition for the film and I am feeling proud. As not many children films are being made in India, it’s really great to make movies on such subjects and win awards as well.”

The director also said that ‘Halkaa’ can be considered as a sequel to his much-acclaimed film ‘I am Kalam’ which is based on a kid’s journey of becoming a hero.

I am sure the audience will love this one like they had appreciated my previous movies. This is a family entertainer with amazing music from Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
