KL Rahul opens up about dating Nidhhi Agerwal

Mumbai: Cricketer KL Rahul has refuted rumours related to dating Bollywood actress Nidhhi Agerwal.

Rahul opened up about his relationship status on chat show "Open House with Renil". The episode will air on Sunday on zoOm styled by Myntra, read a statement to IANS.

About his relationship with Nidhhi, he said: "We have known each other since our college days. We are just good friends and all the rumours are false."

Nidhhi had also earlier denied the news of dating the Indian cricketer that started making the rounds after she was spotted with Rahul, having dinner.

“Yes, I did go out on a dinner with Rahul. I and Rahul go back a long way. We have known each other since our teenage years before Rahul became a cricketer and I became an actress. Though we did not go to the same college in Bangalore, but we have known each other for long,” she told spotboye.

Besides, Rahul had also issued a clarification related to the matter and said, "Can't a guy and girl be friends, is it so hard? I have known her for a long time, we both come from the same city. It's great to see the progress she is making in her field,”  NDTV him as saying.
