Los Angeles: Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp is unaffected by critics` opinions about his latest release `The Tourist`, saying he wouldn`t change a thing about the film if it was made again.

Also starring Angelina Jolie, the film was released last month to a tepid USD 16 million opening-weekend gross and often harsh reviews.

However, the 47-year-old actor insisted that even if he could go back in time to the start of the movie`s production, he wouldn`t alter the film one bit, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"I`d do it exactly the same," said Depp, who portrays a math teacher caught up in some international intrigue while on a European vacation.

"I wanted to work with Angelina and I felt like I had a good handle on the character. It was not a character that I`d really played before. I don`t know the main ingredient of success at the box office. I just feel that`s not something I can do anything about," added Depp.
