Mumbai: Vipul Mehta, who won the singing reality show `Indian Idol`, dreams of lending his voice to noted Bollywood actor Sunny Deol. Hailing from Amritsar in Punjab, Vipul, who started learning classical music from the age of eight, won the `Indian Idol 6` title here last night at the grand finale.

"I am really happy to have won the title. This is just the beginning of my journey in the music industry in Bollywood. I would love to sing for Sunny Deol...I really like him. To lend voice to him would be different and challenging," Vipul told PTI here.

"But I would also want to be a versatile playback singer and be the voice for every actor in the industry. If a music director wants me to a sing a particular kind of a song, I should be able to do justice with it," he said.

Vipul walked away with a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh from Sony channel on which the show was aired, a Nissan Micra car, a Suzuki Hayate bike, Rs three lakh from Max Life Insurance and a contract to record his own music album.

"When I reach home, I would first party hard with my friends as they really supported me a lot, by doing campaigns and helping in garnering votes for me," he said.

In 2008, Vipul had participated in another singing reality show `Voice of India - Season 2` but could not make it to the top three. "I had a lot of pressure on me this time as I couldn`t win the earlier show `Voice of India`. Also, the judges had hopes from me since I was a consecutive performer and versatile singer," he said adding that, however, the experience of that reality show helped him in facing camera.

Apart from singing, the 22-year-old wants to compose music. "Before I came on `Indian Idol`, I used to compose music for my own songs. After winning the show I would work hard on my singing, and rehearse more. Also, I would learn all the aspects of being a music composer," Vipul said adding that he does not want to get into acting.

`Indian Idol 6` was judged by Asha Bhosle, Anu Malik, Salim Merchant and Sunidhi Chauhan.
