Mumbai: Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan, who cheered on Shah Rukh Khan`s team Kolkata Knight Riders against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL match last Saturday, believes that he proved lucky for King Khan`s team.

Hrithik had shot till 4 am for his upcoming film `Agneepath` the previous night but he did not want to miss the experience of watching a cricket match in a stadium for the first time.

"It was my first-ever experience of watching a live match in India. The excitement was palpable. I was here to cheer for Gauri, so was under tremendous pressure cause I promised her we would win if I came. I am glad that it turned out a happy day," said the 37-year-old actor.

He said he was happy to become the lucky mascot for Shah Rukh and Gauri that evening.
